Bringing together a new series of works, Scrim explores how we perceive, relate to, and construct the idea of “nature” — a slippery notion that we all give different meanings to.
The exhibition considers the thin space — the scrim — between “nature” and its image, where our view of the natural world is shaped by culture and a perceived distance. It traces how natural materials and sites, transformed into objects and images, carry faint memories of a former state — yet remain destined to decay as they return to the ground.

Developed in part through conversations with curator Adèle Anstett, whom Price invited to curate the exhibition, the show gathers new sculpture, printmaking, installation, and painting.
