Referencing Jenny Holzer’s iconic billboard work (1983–85), the exhibition borrows her truism not as a critique, but as an open question. What do we want, and who taught us to want it? In an emotional and critical swamp of infatuation, intimacy, and image culture, Protect Me from What I Want draws connections between capitalist desire and feminist materialisms—asking how love, longing, and the body are continually shaped and reshaped by the economies we
live inside, blurring into soft currencies.

Featuring existing works reactivated in a new artistic context, the exhibition embraces nonlinearity as curatorial method—foregrounding an intuitive, fluid form of exhibition-making that resists coherence in favour of tension, play, and rupture.
